Common Questions About Speech Therapy in Boise
Idaho Face & Voice specializes in voice disorders, breathing dysfunction, irritable larynx syndrome, chronic cough, vocal cord dysfunction, facial retraining therapy, and trauma-informed care for neurodivergent adults and teens. This is not a general speech therapy clinic — Heather focuses on complex upper airway and voice conditions that many general SLPs do not treat.
Yes. Heather sees patients both in her Boise office at 4696 West Overland Road and via secure video visit for eligible Idaho patients. Telehealth works particularly well for voice therapy, ILS treatment, and follow-up sessions.
Idaho Face & Voice is a solo specialist practice. Every session is with Heather L. Robinson, MA, CCC-SLP, directly — not a junior therapist or a rotating staff member. With 34+ years of specialist experience, Heather focuses exclusively on voice, breathing, and facial rehabilitation rather than the full range of speech-language pathology.
Heather is an OutCare-certified, LGBTQ+-affirming provider. She also offers trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming care for patients with PTSD, ADHD, Level 1 ASD, or anxiety. Sessions are adapted to each patient’s sensory needs, communication style, and emotional readiness.
You can book directly through the online booking link on this site, or contact the practice at hello@idahofacevoice.com or 208-500-1728. Heather is currently accepting new patients for both in-person and telehealth appointments.
